Newman’s annual Lip Sync Battle took place Wednesday night. The Fugate Fire Starters, made up of Alondra Torres and Julia Myers took first place with their performance which contained snippets from the songs “Despacito,” “Baby” and “Umbrella.”
Second place went to Jenner’s Chicky Sandwiches which was made up of a group of baseball players. The group contained Jenner Steele, Crae Pfannenstiel, Ian Lecki, Thomas Ford and Assistant Coach Hunter Williams. The Chicky Sandwiches performed to Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” complete with a sledgehammer and blue gender reveal powder poppers.
Third place went to the Triple Threat. The trio group lip-synced to “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child.
