Looking for the best chain coffee in town? It’s here

By Allison Hernandez, Staff Writer

When it comes to grabbing coffee, there are a ton of options out there: Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Scooter’s, Dunkin’.

But after trying them all, I can confidently say that 7 Brew is the best place to get your coffee fix in Wichita. Not only is its coffee consistently rich and flavorful, but it’s also much more affordable. You get high-quality taste without the high price tag.

Although 7 Brew might not have that cozy inside seating like some other coffee shops,  do we really need it? While that might turn off some who love to sip and sit, let’s be honest: Most of us are grabbing coffee on the go, and 7 Brew has perfected that quick, convenient drive-thru experience. You roll up, place your order, and in no time, you’ve got a cup of coffee in your hand.

I’ve tried a lot of different coffee chains, and 7 Brew consistently delivers some of the best tasting coffee I’ve had, always smooth, rich, and never too bitter or weak. It’s just the right balance. Whether you’re going for a classic black coffee or something sweeter and more fun, 7 Brew’s menu has something for everyone. And unlike other places, you don’t need to worry about whether it’ll taste good or not because it always does.

One of the biggest reasons I like 7 Brew is that it offers great coffee that's not too expensive. A large coffee at 7 Brew is only around $4.50, which is a total steal compared to a lot of the competition.

I know some people stick with Dunkin’ because it’s inexpensive, but let’s be real — Dunkin’ coffee is hit or miss. Some days, it’s decent, and other days it tastes really watery or way too bitter. It’s always a gamble, and I don’t want to gamble with my coffee, especially early in the morning before class. I want to know it’s going to be good every time, and that’s exactly what I get at 7 Brew.

Sure, places like Dutch Bros and Starbucks might offer more variety or fancy drinks, but at the end of the day, you’re still paying a high price for coffee. The best part is that 7 Brew doesn’t skimp on size. You’re getting a full, satisfying cup, not a watered-down version that leaves you wanting more.

In my opinion, 7 Brew has mastered what matters most: flavor, convenience, and affordability. It keeps things simple and gets it right. If you’re looking for a quality cup of coffee that won’t break the bank, go to 7 Brew. It just might become your new favorite stop for that morning pick-me-up.

Wichita is home to four 7 Brew coffee shops, including the newest one located conveniently near Newman University at Maple and Ridge. The first 7 Brew in Wichita opened at 3031 E. Central in September 2022, followed by two additional stores on the east side at 110 N. Rock Road and at 11465 E. 21st St.
