Voting for next year’s Student Government Association started on Wednesday, and soon, students will have an opportunity to hear more from the candidates at the top of the ballot.
Debates between the candidates are scheduled for noon to 2 p.m. Thursday in Dugan Library.
Students are electing a new president and vice president, who run together, plus 11 at-large senators and six department chair senators. Five senator positions will be reserved for incoming first-year students, and that election will be held during the fall.

Voting, which happens online, will close at noon on Wednesday, April 9. Students can find links to the online ballots in their emails, in the JetBroadcast newsletter and on SGA’s Instagram page. The QR code that leads to the ballot also can be found above.
Winners will be announced at the April 11 Jet Friday.
