Six Newman students presented at the Kansas Association of Historians Conference on March 29 and 30, the largest showing of students out of all of the private and public universities in attendance.

Cammie Kennedy, the university’s director of undergraduate admissions since July, is already making an impact and is “absolutely loving” her time here. Newman is apparently loving her too because last month, Kennedy was awarded the 2019 Dr. Suzanne Berg SHEro of Excellence Award.

Newman’s production of “The Winter’s Tale” hits the stage tonight. “The Winter’s Tale” is a Shakespearean play where Leontes, the king of Sicilia, becomes convinced that his wife, Hermione, and his best friend, Polixenes, are having an affair even though they are innocent.
