Maybe you’ve seen him and wonder why he’s dressed up. An old soul, as he calls himself, roaming our campus. Mr. Newman, as some freshmen students call him, frequently wears suits to class.

Students who participate in this event behind closed doors can officially come out of hiding thanks to CAB. A lip sync battle will be taking place to allow students to compete for monetary prizes and bragging rights.

Wednesday night, Wichita Mayor Jeff Longwell came to Newman to speak to students about getting the Triple-A baseball team, Baby Cakes, to move from New Orleans to Wichita.

If you love ABBA and fun-upbeat musicals, then students from the music and theater departments have the show for you. “Mamma Mia!” will be choreographed and directed by professor of music Deanne Zogleman and adjunct music director Paul Graves Nov. 15-18.
